After much reflection, I’ve decided to close the chapel July 28. This has not — and still is not — an easy decision, but it is the best decision for me at this time.
I’m not closing my business, just the chapel… for now. Although I have a few Married-in-a-Minute ceremonies scheduled in August, I will reach out to those couples and make other arrangements to meet them at another location.
I’ll still offer drive-thru/curbside ceremonies. I’ll still offer Married-in-a-Minute Sign-and-Go ceremonies. I’ll most likely offer Short, Sweet, and Hitched ceremonies, too, but I’ll do everything on location instead of inside the chapel.
I LOVE my business, and I have plans to grow it in other ways. However, in order to grow it I have to open up more time to do it. That’s why, beginning August 1, I will offer my services at venues and other locations in WV and OH.
If you or someone you know wants to get married at my 531 Market Street location, book your ceremonies soon. I’ll be on vacation June 1-11, but I still have plenty of openings now through July 28. I am no longer accepting ceremonies in the bigger chapel.
To all of the couples who have graced the doors of my small chapel, thank you. The past four years have been amazing. I first placed a wedding arch and a few chairs in a small spot in my photography studio. Then, I moved it to another room in the suite I was renting at the time. I could seat 17 guests in there. As my business grew, I took out all of my photography equipment and converted my photography studio into a wedding chapel with a 35-seat capacity. Then, in July 2020, I moved to my current location. It has been a beautiful experience. The couples who graced my doors changed my life in more ways than you’ll ever know.
I’ll be selling a lot of my wedding décor. You can LIKE my Facebook page to see the items I’m selling. I’ll be adding items throughout the summer.
I look forward to officiating more weddings and expanding my business to reach more couples. You can schedule your ceremony by completing the form below.
