Imagine saying your vows in a Medieval-style castle with knights in plate armor and coats of arms as the décor.
Think of how magnificent your wedding photos will be against the backdrop of a Norman-style, 14th century castle at sunset….
What would it mean to you if you could create your fantasy wedding just 18 miles away from downtown Marietta, Ohio?
You can have all this plus more when you schedule your wedding at Grizer Castle.
Located in Whipple, OH, Grizer Castle is MY dream venue to officiate a ceremony. It’s unique. It’s gorgeous. Most importantly, it’s an experience that offers something extra magical to couples who want to plan a wedding that everyone will remember and talk about for years to come.
When I visited the castle, I was in awe of its magnificence. I know you will be too. Even more impressive is that Bill Grizer and his family built the castle by hand, laying approximately 46,000 bricks over a span of six years from start to finish. It’s obvious that this project is a labor of love, and I can think of no better place to declare your lifelong love for each other.
Here are three (of many) reasons why I love Grizer Castle.
Your photos will look stunning — like you took them in a faraway land. The good news is that you don’t have to travel to France, Spain, or Great Britain to get images that look breathtaking.
Because the castle is secluded and hidden away from other businesses, you and your guests will enjoy the privacy you deserve on the best day of your life. If you want a wedding that looks like no other, Grizer Castle is like no other venue in the area. You can say your vows inside or outside (in the courtyard) without interruption.
If you desire an elegant affair or a themed Disney princess wedding, you can’t go wrong by booking your event here.
Regardless of whether you want a small wedding with 50 guests or you want to invite 300 people, Grizer Castle has a wedding package to accommodate celebrations of all sizes. Current pricing ranges from $2,195-$4,995 + tax, depending on the number of guests. A $200 damage deposit is required and returned the night of your event, as long as there is no damage to the venue. A deposit of 25% of the package price (up to $500) is required to reserve your wedding day experience.
The all-inclusive packages include the following:
The Grizer family and staff will work with you to make your wedding day amazing.
My son and I visited the castle and loved every moment of it. Here are a few pictures I took, as well as a few others that I’ve borrowed (with permission) to show you how interesting it is. There are many more fun features that are not pictured below. I recommend that you schedule a tour to see this magnificent wedding and event venue.
