Sometimes you have to walk away while you’re still in love. As much as I love my chapel, I’ve decided to take my business in another direction beginning July 22. I want to emphasize that I am I’m not going out of business. I’m simplifying how I conduct business.
I will be open for chapel weddings now through July 21. Even though I’m leaving the chapel, I’ll continue to officiate weddings in WV and OH as a travel-to-you officiant.
This is not the result of the COVID-19 shutdown. This is a decision I’ve been thinking about for a long time.
I’m a busy officiant, but I want to decrease my overhead costs. Most of my full ceremonies are on location, so it doesn’t make sense to keep the chapel open when the demand for my services take me other places.
Here’s the good news…. For Sign-and-Go ceremonies, I can meet you anywhere: the courthouse, your house, or a beautiful scenic location. I’ll still be available for same-day services as my schedule allows.
I’m fortunate to work in an industry that I love. That’s why I’ll continue to serve the Mid-Ohio Valley and beyond. I’ll be traveling to Hawks Nest State Park later this year for a wedding. I’ve also scheduled ceremonies in Columbus, OH.
If you want a chapel wedding or Sign-and-Go services with photos in the chapel, now is the time to schedule your wedding date. A lot of couples had to postpone their weddings due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Now that we’re getting back to business, I’ve heard from several couples who are ready to get married. A non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your date. You can find a list of my services and fees here.
